Appointments during COVID-19

During the current pandemic, we are not booking routine appointments.  If you need to see a Doctor please contact the surgery and a Doctor will call you back to discuss.  If they feel you need to be seen they will book an appointment for you.  When contacting the surgery please help us by telling the reception staff the reason for your call.  They can then direct you to the most appropriate clinician.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS DURING COVID 19

Please note: requests for increased quantities of repeat medication will be declined  

Please order your medication as usual to prevent additional pressure on our community pharmacies.

Please nominate a pharmacy to collect your prescription to avoid coming to the surgery

OPEN SURGERY - CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Due to the current situation with Coronavirus we will not be having any walk in surgeries until further notice.

If you have a cough or a high temperature DO NOT come to the surgery.  Stay at home, self isolate for 7 days and visit www.111.nhs.uk for further advice.

Please help us to protect our staff and other patients during this period.

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Passport signing
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Requests for form completion will be dealt with within 5 working days and you will be asked for payment before the form is completed.
