Appointments during COVID-19

During the current pandemic, we are not booking routine appointments.  If you need to see a Doctor please contact the surgery and a Doctor will call you back to discuss.  If they feel you need to be seen they will book an appointment for you.  When contacting the surgery please help us by telling the reception staff the reason for your call.  They can then direct you to the most appropriate clinician.

Please note: requests for increased quantities of repeat medication will be declined

Please order your medication as usual to prevent additional pressure on our community pharmacies.

Please nominate a pharmacy to collect your prescription to avoid coming to the surgery

Due to the current situation with Coronavirus we will not be having any walk in surgeries until further notice.

If you have a cough or a high temperature DO NOT come to the surgery.  Stay at home, self isolate for 7 days and visit for further advice.

Please help us to protect our staff and other patients during this period.

Do you need to see a GP when we are closed?

We are now working in partnership with Push Doctor to provide appointments for patients in the evening and at weekends.

Did you know you can now see a doctor without leaving the house?

See an NHS GP, whenever suits you! All you need is a laptop, smartphone or tablet.

Secure appointments with access to your complete medical history.

Get started at, or download the Push Doctor app to book an appointment whenever suits you.

Appointments are available between 6:30pm - 8:00pm Monday to Friday

and over the weekend between 8:00am - 8:00pm

How it works:

Seeing a GP with Push Doctor is just like seeing a traditional GP but without needing to leave the house.

Getting started:

Sign up for an account in minutes on the website or by downloading the app.

If you don't have a smartphone you can still use Push Doctor through their website. You lose nothing by doing it that way.

Book an appointment:

Choose to see a doctor the same day, or another day entirely, at a time that is convenient for you.

Your appointment:

You will speak to an NHS trained UK GP via a video or text chat. Just like in a traditional consultation you will discuss your symptoms, any relevant medical history and any other details you wish to make the doctor aware of. The doctor could give you a prescription and send it electronically to a pharmacy of your choice, a sick note or refer you to a specialist.

At the end of the appointment the GP will record all information in your records which your usual GP will be able to see as soon as the surgery is open again.
