Appointments during COVID-19

During the current pandemic, we are not booking routine appointments.  If you need to see a Doctor please contact the surgery and a Doctor will call you back to discuss.  If they feel you need to be seen they will book an appointment for you.  When contacting the surgery please help us by telling the reception staff the reason for your call.  They can then direct you to the most appropriate clinician.

Please note: requests for increased quantities of repeat medication will be declined

Please order your medication as usual to prevent additional pressure on our community pharmacies.

Please nominate a pharmacy to collect your prescription to avoid coming to the surgery

Due to the current situation with Coronavirus we will not be having any walk in surgeries until further notice.

If you have a cough or a high temperature DO NOT come to the surgery.  Stay at home, self isolate for 7 days and visit for further advice.

Please help us to protect our staff and other patients during this period.

In February 2016 the surgery went live with Electronic Prescribing.

Patients can now nominate their pharmacy and, when their prescription is signed, it will be sent electronically direct to the Pharmacy who will then download the instruction from the Doctor and make up the medication as usual.

This is a safe and secure way of transferring information direct to the Pharmacy and eliminates the need for the patient to collect their prescription and take it to the Pharmacy.

Contact the surgery today to arrange the nomination of your preferred Pharmacy.

We now employ a Pharmacy Technician.  Beth is available to help with any problems you are having including:

  • Synchronising your medication so that it all arrives at the same time and all runs out at the same time
  • Problems with your pharmacy - Beth can liaise with them on your behalf and sort any problems for you
  • Out of stock items - Beth will help source any items you are having difficulty obtaining
  • General concerns regarding your medication - if you are worried or unsure but don't want to bother the Doctor just give Beth a ring and she will sort it for you!

Beth is currently employed by the Practice and works Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
